Zero
Virtual Exhibition
Zero showcases the twin facets of Kumari Nahappan’s practice: the visual language of abstraction, and the conceptual tenets of Hinduism. The virtual space of this exhibition is comprised of various galleries, characterised by different aesthetic moods and their related energies, and connected by passageways oriented around an empty space – the essential void at the heart of one’s mortal coil, the idea of zero, or nothingness, as the twin to the concept of infinity. The sequential arrangement of paintings, sculptures and installations suggest cyclic time and the recurring round of worldly existence.
